I decided to close my commission down at the moment because I have been busy with bigger commissions (card game illustrations sure take up plenty of time) and personal projects (currently working on a story game for iOS... will update you all once the beta is up!). Meanwhile at day I'm working in the Bandai-Namco Studios for 8 hours everyday... I am pretty much occupied all the time. I will still try to read + reply to comments, but might overlook notes, so if you need to contact me please reach me through Twitter/e-mail (those are the only two social medias installed on my phone).
It is kind of an irony too that I will be quitting games to create games. (Goodbye League, goodbye FFXIV!) But as Ben has told me on twitter, "creating things is just so time consuming. The reward for us is not in the consumption but in having others consume what we create"
. I have learned a lot of things from video games (if it weren't for them I wouldn't be able to even write in English, and I would probably end up taking medical studies in my country as planned) so now is the time to pay back the debt.
There's some sort of melancholy to this because playing games had been a huge part of my youth. Not that I am old now (very young compared to plenty of my peers and colleagues, actually), but it sure feels different once you get into the working environment. So adult-like now. Hahaha. I will get used to it eventually.
Hopefully you all will have a good Summer holiday (I assume it's the time now?)
